MIND & BODY CLASSES
Barre is a strength and conditioning class using elements of dance to sculpt and define the muscles. We will use the ballet barre for some of our exercises. This is a workout for every body! Space is limited and you must sign up.
If you’ve never done Yoga, this class will work for you! Basic level moves that you can expand on if you like, so come even if you have Yoga experience and you, too, will be challenged.
DEEP STRETCH YOGA
This is an active, but relaxing class that blends styles of Yoga to focus on deeply stretching and relaxing the body. A busy or athletic lifestyle can build tension in the body, resulting in pain, imbalance, or limited mobility. This class will focus on relieving commonly tight areas, lengthening muscles and maintaining alignment- great for athletes or just active lives. All levels are welcome!
This Vinyasa-style class (breath to movement), develops strength and flexibility to find proper alignment and learn modifications specifically for your skeletal structure. The class consists of Sun Salutations, standing postures, basic arm balances, core strengthening, back bends, hip openers, inversions and even some restorative postures. This class will help you build strength, increase flexibility and find focus! Prior Yoga experience suggested.
Want a Yoga Challenge? – With a hard core emphasis on strength, muscle endurance and flexibility, this class will challenge you and guarantees an energetic workout!
This class that blends Yoga and Pilates. You will get the alignment cues, core work and breathing techniques that both disciplines use. Your body will be both challenged and stretched with this wonderful blend.
This class teaches the basics of Pilates that are needed to execute the movements with proper form.
Foundation Yoga – If you’ve never done Yoga, this class will work for you! Basic level moves that you can expand on if you like, so come even if you have Yoga experience and you, too, will be challenged.
In this class, begin to incorporate a variety of exercises with control, breath, concentration and centering. Learn how to initiate energy from the “powerhouse” or abdomen, lower back, hips and buttocks. Prior Pilates experience suggested.
Define yourself! No weights, no jumps. Just basic core results! PiYo combines the muscle sculpting, core firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility advantages you get from Yoga. This fat burning, low impact workout leaves your body looking long, lean and beautifully defined.
